A Butterfly Extravaganza

This spring is for the butterflies. These sugar cookies are inspired by the beautiful winged creatures that are so majestic and covered in all the colors of the rainbow. Little did I know just how popular these cookies would become. A favorite for Mother's day this year, in the end I made more than twenty various butterfly designs. I tried my best not to repeat any design and make each butterfly unique just as they would be in nature. Although the black lines of the monarch are echoed in several colors of butterflies because of how striking they are. These cookies come in vanilla, strawberry, orange, and lemon & lavender flavors.
